Our Apollo ILS/LSP has been ranked by users as the 2016 Product of the Year. Apollo topped 50 other automation and other products in the Modern Library Awards by LibraryWorks, Inc. LibraryWorks created these MLA awards to recognize the top products in the library industry in a truly unbiased format. See the exciting full results here.
Candidate products were submitted in fall 2015 and were posted on a private site with descriptions and attendant materials. For judging, the link was sent to the LibraryWorks database of more than 80,000 librarians. Only customers experienced with nominated products were permitted to judge the products. Each judge scored the product on a numeric basis from 1-10 on a series of questions regarding functionality, value, customer service, etc. Apollo excelled with a 9.8 score!
Of the array of awards, which includes honorable mentions, silver, gold, and platinum award levels, Apollo received the top award of all: Product of the Year, besting all 50+ contenders. This is Apollo’s second consecutive year at the top of the MLAs; in 2015, Apollo earned the Platinum award.

Congratulations! It was in March of 2008 that we, the volunteers of a small library, were looking for something to help us in cataloging. We have no librarian and none of us had library cataloging experience. We were cataloging in a word document and were in need of help. We wanted something that would be easy for us to use and was not costly. We found Apollo and have been happy since. It is so easy and user friendly and support is wonderful. The other day I was at a meeting with other librarians who were complaining about the hassle of getting materials deleted from our statewide system. I tried very hard to keep the smugness out of my voice when I mentioned that Apollo took care of all of that for me!
